    M 19 cabinet construction?

Just curious if anyone has heard a M19 type cabinet constructed out of high quality baltic birch or other well constructed ply? There are a couple of reason why I ask, after reading the thread about the 250$ m 19's and some of the comments about the type of press wood used and the lack of high quality glues at the time, if a new cabinet made out of better materials might sound better?

I beleive the re-production cabinets that are on ebay from time to time are plywood.

Any cabinet you can take the time to seal and brace properly is going to sound better than a factory assembly line cabinet IMHO... Very few if any of the vintage cabs were ever caulked or sealed completely from the factory.Or can stand the test of time for leaks.Your experience may vary.
